Maura is Stephanie’s older sister. She is an artist and a photographer. Stephanie and Maura share a love for nature, animals (especially cats), and fantasy stories and games.

Julia is Robert’s older sister. Stephanie and Julia share a passion for fitness and adventuring in the great outdoors. They also share a love for coffee and really good food.

Stephanie met Elise in 2015 while attending St. Mary's Orthodox Church in Falls Church, VA. Learning that they both were Orthodox, huge fantasy book nerds, love tea, and fitness, they became fast friends. Even though life and work sometimes take them far away, their friendship is one that always picks back up as if no time has passed.

Jessica and Stephanie became good friends through their weekly D&D game and became running buddies. The girls love to run on the Mount Vernon Trail, in DC during cherry blossom season, and attend the weekly Joggers & Lagers group run at Port City Brewing Company on Monday nights.

Colton met Rob in high school, where they peaked. Working as an egghead at a creative design company in Los Angeles, he and his wife are trying to raise their three children to be Virginians at heart.

Joshua met Robert in the magic hallway behind the gym. They have since partnered up for countless adventures across many realms. He isn't one to talk about what's past, but his wife and dog know him well enough.

Kent met Robert in their dual master's program at Northwestern, where Robert taught Kent enough to graduate. Kent lives in Tahoe with his wife and three boys, where they love sailing, skiing, and being outside. He knows very little about games, but Robert and Stephanie tolerate him anyway.

Sahil has been making life difficult for Robert "Sacky" since 2006, hounding him from Virginia Tech to Tysons to Falls Church. Alongside his lifelong pursuit of trolling, he sometimes reads, games, travels, and occasionally even works. Sacky has described Sahil’s personality as “unique” and “distinctive”, though nobody can quite figure out why.
